Make a meaningful difference supporting students during the upcoming 2026-2027 school year in a vibrant educational environment! This rewarding contract opportunity is ideal for skilled paraprofessionals passionate about empowering learners in both middle and high school settings. Multiple positions are available for dedicated individuals ready to work full time, Monday through Friday, between 32 and 37.5 hours per week.
Bring your expertise to a team that values collaboration, compassion, and growth, playing a vital role in helping students thrive academically and socially. The current openings span both middle and high school—choose the setting that best fits your background and interests.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience as a paraprofessional in an educational setting, preferably with middle or high school students
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and provide effective classroom support
- Adaptable, patient, and dedicated to fostering an inclusive learning environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers and staff
- Reliability, organization, and a proactive, supportive attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students under the guidance of teachers, both in and out of the classroom
- Assist with individualized instructional activities, student engagement, and behavior management
- Help implement learning plans and modifications according to student needs
- Encourage student independence and participation in academic and social activities
- Foster a safe and positive atmosphere, ensuring all students feel valued and heard
