Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shift, 5x8 hours (07:00 - 15:00) with rotating weekends approximately every 3-4 weeks. No on-call required.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist with acute care experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a hard worker who is collaborative and a strong team player.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with various diagnoses including multi-trauma, spinal cord injuries, strokes, orthopedic conditions, and chronic disorders.
- Provide focused therapy interventions to help patients achieve functional independence.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Assist in the assessment and treatment planning for both inpatient and outpatient services throughout the facility.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
- WA state licensure in hand at submission.
- Prior experience in inpatient rehab (IPR) is a bonus.
- Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic, is advantageous.
