Registered Nurse/MICU

Registered Nurse - Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Requirements Experience with EPIC is required. Start date aligns with the next available orientation, approximately 3-4 weeks from now. Minimum of 18 months MICU experience required; 2 years preferred. Nurses new to MICU are welcome to apply. Current certifications required at application: AHA or Red Cross BLS and ACLS. NIHSS certification must be completed before starting. The nurse will float within their scope of practice to support facility needs, including coverage at three hospitals within a 20-mile radius. Block scheduling is not available. Local applicants are eligible and will receive the same pay rate. Pending licenses will not be accepted. All requested time off must be submitted with the application; late requests are unlikely to be approved. Travelers must be nicotine-free and pass a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) testing. Completion of time-sensitive EPIC training modules is required immediately after assignment confirmation.
