Key Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communicative Disorders, or a related discipline
- Valid Massachusetts license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) seeking to gain school-based experience
- Ability to work effectively with students diagnosed with autism
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for teaming with parents and school staff
- Organized, positive, and passionate outlook with a flexible, solution-focused approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students with ASD, addressing a variety of communication needs
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the educational team
- Employ ABA-aligned strategies and interventions within the school setting
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary staff for integrated service delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with program and regulatory requirements
