Join our team as a Patient Access Representative, where you will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, setting the tone for their care experience across the entire hospital system. You will ensure a seamless transition for every individual entering our facilitywhether they are arriving for a scheduled procedure, diagnostic testing, or emergency care. This position is ideal for a customer service professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering compassionate, high-level support to our community.

Responsibilities

• Admitting patients into the Emergency Room, Lab and Imaging.
• Completing registration of patients for inpatient and out-patient services.
• Answering multi-line telephones.
• Receiving and distribution of physician calls.
• Maintaining quality customer service and patient confidentiality at all times.
• Performing other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Qualifications

What You'll Need:

• Knowledge of principles that relate to the position.
• Aptitude in verbal and written communication, including ability to communicate with persons in all age groups.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service, data entry, and operating a multi-line phone system preferred.
• Possession of United States proof of citizenship or right to work in the United States.
• Possession of a driver license or analogous identification.
• Willingness to participate in Hospital orientation and educational in-service.
