Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, ensuring clear and compassionate communication throughout
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic imagery
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any technical issues immediately
• Thoroughly document all procedures and maintain up-to-date patient records within our electronic medical records system
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging technology and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
