Family Law Paralegal

Work Arrangement: On-site initially, with potential for hybrid/remote work after the initial in-office period Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join a collaborative legal team and provide support on family law matters involving clients navigating court proceedings. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of family law experience , strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work directly with attorneys and clients. Key Responsibilities Provide paralegal support for family law cases and court-related matters. Assist attorneys with case preparation, pleadings, filings, and legal documents. Prepare and manage mandatory family law pleadings. Handle e-filing and working copies for court submissions. Communicate directly with clients regarding case-related matters and documentation. Maintain accurate case files, deadlines, and records. Assist with correspondence and email communication with clients. Work closely with attorneys and other team members throughout the lifecycle of cases. Maintain accurate timekeeping and billing records. Provide general administrative and case-management support as needed. Qualifications 2+ years of relevant family law paralegal experience. Familiarity with family law pleadings and mandatory forms. Experience with e-filing and preparing working copies. Strong understanding of legal documents and court procedures. Experience communicating directly with clients and attorneys. Excellent timekeeping and billing skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities. Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn. This is a collaborative, team-oriented environment where experienced team members are available to provide training and support on legal cases and procedures.
