Job Summary
The location is in Anchorage, Alaska. The position is for a Sterile Processing Technician at an acute hospital facility. The role involves performing sterilization and equipment processing tasks within a healthcare environment, supporting various surgical and clinical procedures. Candidates will be responsible for maintaining high standards of disinfection, sterilization, and equipment documentation in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Job Details

• Shift: Evenings, with a schedule of 5x8-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts, typically in the evening hours.
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Start Date: 07/20/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in CBSPD, CSPDT, IAHCSMM/HSPA, or NBSTSA; 1 year of experience; Valid state license or pending license acceptable (takes approximately 10-12 weeks).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Orthopedics, Neuro, Robotics; EMR system experience with Epic preferred.
• Certifications: CBSPD, CSPDT, IAHCSMM/HSPA, or NBSTSA.
• Additional Information:
  • Travel assignment duration is limited to a maximum of 1 calendar year, followed by a minimum 6-month break.
  • Must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
  • References: Two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years prior to start.
  • Travel compliance requires SSN, DOB, and RTO included at submission.
  • Only submit to one location within the specified region, with a minimum of 50 miles from the address.
  • The traveler must be willing to work within the scope of sterile processing in an acute hospital setting, supporting specialized procedures such as endoscope reprocessing, high-level disinfection, and sterilization testing.
