What You'll Do

• Oversee all financial operations , including budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, capital planning, and long‑range financial modeling to support seasonal production cycles and market‑driven variability specific to agriculture.

• Lead risk management and cost‑control strategies , analyzing commodity pricing, input costs, labor fluctuations, and supply‑chain impacts to improve margins and ensure operational stability.

• Direct financial reporting, audits, and compliance , ensuring accuracy across inventory valuation, crop/harvest accounting, fixed assets, land and equipment management, and federal/state agricultural regulations.

• Partner with operations, farming, and production leaders to evaluate profitability, optimize resource allocation, improve yield‑to‑cost performance, and drive data‑based decisions throughout the growing and distribution process.

• Develop and maintain banking, investor, and vendor relationships , securing financing for land, equipment, and expansion projects while supporting strategic initiatives such as sustainability, technology adoption, and vertical integration.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field ; MBA or CPA/CMA preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of senior financial management experience as a Finance Director, Controller, or equivalent leadership role overseeing accounting teams and organizational financial operations.

• Agriculture finance and operational accounting experience , including familiarity with crop/harvest cycles, inventory valuation, cost accounting, land/equipment capital planning, and ag‑specific financial reporting.

• Demonstrated experience with financial systems, ERP technology, and operational process improvements , along with proven ability to partner with production, supply chain, and field operations to drive data‑based decision‑making.
