Programmer

EIS is seeking a Programmer to build and support software solutions that power our North American wholesale distribution operations. In this role, you will develop and maintain applications, integrations, and automations that improve order processing, inventory visibility, and customer service for electrical, electronic, and industrial OEM customers. Working in a collaborative, safety-focused environment, you will partner closely with operations and commercial teams to translate business needs into reliable tools, optimize data flows, troubleshoot issues, and continuously enhance system performance to support mission-critical industrial applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications supporting wholesale distribution workflows
• Build and optimize system integrations between ERP, inventory, and ordering platforms
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices
• Collaborate with operations, sales, and customer service teams to gather requirements
• Analyze and improve performance, reliability, and scalability of internal tools
• Develop reports, data exports, and automation to support business decisions
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
• Maintain technical documentation for systems and integrations
• Support implementation of new technologies and process enhancements
