Travel Registered Nurse

Travel Registered Nurse providing obstetric and postpartum care for a 13-week assignment in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The role supports labor and delivery units, monitors fetal and maternal status, and educates patients on postpartum recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and postpartum nursing care to women before, during, and after labor
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using electronic fetal monitoring and other medical equipment
• Administer medications such as magnesium, Pitocin, and epidurals following hospital protocols
• Educate patients and their families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and recovery processes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate safe and effective patient care plans

Qualifications:

• Nursing degree (ASN, BSN, or higher) from an accredited institution
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
• Minimum 2 years of Women's Health/OB experience
• Experience with postpartum care and labor/delivery units
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
• Physically able to stand for long periods
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Prior travel experience
