Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their team.Join our well-respected law firm in Baton Rouge, LA as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal! You'll work closely with our Business practice group attorneys, supporting complex commercial real estate and corporate transactions. This is a full-time, on-site role offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

Assist with all aspects of commercial real estate and corporate transactions, from pre-closing to post-closing.
Prepare closing documents, disbursement statements, and title policies.
Analyze real estate documents, legal descriptions, and surveys.
Oversee closing binder preparation and address post-closing matters.
Draft UCC financing statements, contracts, financial documents, resolutions, and corporate documents.
Maintain strong communication with external parties to ensure smooth and efficient closings.
Manage deadlines and meet position billing requirements.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required, with a preference for a four-year degree or paralegal studies certificate (experience may be substituted).
3-5 years of paralegal experience in a business/corporate environment preferred.
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite and a document management system.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
Top-notch proofreading abilities.
Experience using electronic legal resources and support software a plus.
