Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee) Attends department meetings and engages in positive dialogue to support department objectives. Obtains high-quality scans by following proper exam protocols and adapting procedures to each patient's medical situation. Confirms patient and exam accuracy using two patient identifiers before administering exams. Performs, documents, and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental policy. Reviews images and completes ultrasound worksheets and/or reports promptly if applicable, re-scanning patients as requested. Communicates and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team, including notifying physicians of abnormal findings. Utilizes computer systems to update exam status, manage orders, and ensure accurate charges. Operates and maintains ultrasound equipment safely, adhering to infection control standards. Performs a full range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures and rotates between multiple departments as needed. Assists with clinical instructions and serves as a resource to less experienced employees. Participates in performance improvement activities and contributes to process improvement initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned. Education Associate [Preferred] Bachelor's [Preferred] Work Experience 2+ years experience in vascular sonography [Preferred] Licenses And Certifications Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required] OR Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography (R.T.(VS)(ARRT)) [Required] OR Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) [Required] OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] Physical Requirements Physical Requirements - Pay Range $28.68 - $53.35 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law) Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
