Job Overview Alpha students complete academic learning through AI-driven applications—no traditional lectures or textbooks. Roughly 60% of your time involves facilitating one-hour workshops focused on life skills: public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback exchange. Another 30% is spent in individual or small-group sessions where you use Coachbot analytics to track student progress and drive each one toward their weekly application targets. The remaining 10% is dedicated to analyzing performance data and translating it into the next week’s coaching strategy. You will not follow rigid scripts; workshops provide a foundation that the strongest performers customize and expand when they identify unmet needs. Key Responsibilities Facilitating one-hour life-skills sessions for K-8 groups covering public speaking, focus, feedback culture, and other essential competencies—modifying the existing framework and creating new modules when you identify missing elements. Conducting daily individual and small-group coaching conversations that drive every student toward their weekly app targets, leveraging Coachbot data, Alpha’s reward structures (campus currency, performance boards), and your personal rapport with each student to overcome reluctance. Overseeing Test2Pass administration (Alpha’s competency-based evaluation) for each life skill and coaching students who fall short until they achieve mastery. Shifting your approach across a broad developmental spectrum—from kindergarteners requiring dynamic, kinetic engagement to eighth graders who respond to direct conversation and personal accountability. Analyzing weekly cohort metrics in Coachbot, pinpointing students falling behind target, and recalibrating methods for the upcoming week according to data insights. What You Won’t Be Doing Delivering content at a whiteboard; the apps handle academic instruction, not you. Constructing a complete curriculum without guidance; you begin with an established framework and inject your own personality and narrative skill. Passively monitoring students on devices; the motivation model here is dynamic, individualized, and continuous. Working through layers of administrative approval to secure support for at‑risk students; when a student requires additional coaching, you decide and implement immediately. Assessing assignments, conducting standardized exam preparation, or handling parent correspondence; Campus Leads manage family communication, and the other tasks simply don’t exist in this model. Minimum of 3 years’ direct experience working with K-8 students (including classroom instruction, coaching, tutoring, camp counseling, or youth program management). A concrete example you can articulate of pushing a K-8 student toward a challenging objective: what the goal was, your specific actions, and the result. Comfort allowing AI to manage instructional delivery while you concentrate on motivation and life‑skills development. Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
