Candidates must possess BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC certifications. Description: This position is for a travel RN specializing in the Emergency Department. The unit has a total of 52 beds and a diverse staff of 134 professionals. Staffing includes a mix of charge nurses, nurses, techs, unit clerks, physicians, and midlevel providers. The average patient ratio is 3:1, with lower acuity ratios of 5:1 for certain cases. Team nursing is utilized for pediatric patients. Key skills sought include proficiency in IV starts, medication administration, and sedations. Candidates with experience working in large facilities are preferred. Familiarity with Meditech EMR is a plus. The successful candidate should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to adapt quickly to diverse situations is essential.
