Key Responsibilities\n

  • Assess and diagnose patients' mental health conditions using appropriate clinical tools and methodologies, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the cultural sensitivities and unique needs of each patient.

  • Continuously evaluate patients’ progress, adjusting interventions and therapeutic strategies to ensure alignment with their mental health goals.

  • Maintain accurate and timely treatment records, reports, and other clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and clinic protocols, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

  • Collaborate interdisciplinary with other mental health professionals and clinicians, leveraging a team approach to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that encompass the patient’s identified needs and values.

  • Educate patients and their families on the therapeutic process, fostering a deep understanding of their treatment objectives and empowering them in their recovery journey.

  • Facilitate referrals and resource navigation, establishing strong networks with external providers and community resources to bridge any gap in patients’ care.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to students, interns, and new team members, contributing to their professional growth and development within the field.

  • Participate in peer supervision and clinical collaboration initiatives, supporting a culture of continuous improvement and team-building across departments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work with a diverse patient population suffering from various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. This role necessitates a deep understanding of mental health issues across different age groups and cultural backgrounds, ensuring that all patients receive care that is respectful and reflective of their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, accompanied by a valid license from the State Board of Social Work Licensure.

  • The candidate must possess a current LCSW designation with a strong foundation in clinical practices.

  • Proven ability to understand and address the complexities of human behavior throughout various life stages, especially considering cultural patterns.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Between six months to one year of clinical experience is preferred, ideally gained in a health or mental health setting.

  • Experience working in outpatient mental health or community health environments will be highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
