Fire Stopping Installer

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking fire‑stopping installer who is looking for growth to join our team. Responsibilities Review and understand safety on the job site. Coordinate the installation process at the job site (unload equipment, place the hose in the location of installation, etc.). Use basic trade math fundamentals to assist the supervisor with costs. Inspection of firewalls per NFPA code. Provide accurate documentation for customers’ code compliance. Maintain professional, timely communication with customers. Review and learn blueprinting, sketching, perspectives, and terminology. Develop an understanding of the relationship between cost, blueprint reading, and material estimating. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least six months of construction experience. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to read and use a tape measure and read measurements off of a blueprint. Dependable transportation; ability to travel out of town, both on overnight and one‑day trips. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, high precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, or airborne particles, and moving mechanical parts and vibration.
