Work closely with a diverse caseload-54 students receiving direct therapy and 14 students through consult-delivering essential services that foster student growth and success in their educational environment.


Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Texas
• Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong understanding of school-based OT practices
• Proficiency in preparing and managing IEP paperwork
• Skilled communicator, comfortable collaborating with students, staff, and families

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, focusing on their individual needs and educational goals
• Conduct consults for students requiring indirect OT services
• Collaborate with educators and related service professionals to develop and implement effective strategies
• Complete and maintain IEP paperwork to ensure compliance and best practices
• Attend ARD meetings as a valued member of the support team, contributing your expertise
• Track student progress, documenting sessions and updating goals as appropriate
