Requirements

• Troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain industrial ammonia refrigeration systems
• Diagnose issues involving compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, valves, controls, VFDs, and related equipment
• Perform emergency service, leak response, preventive maintenance, system evaluations, and startup support
• Read and work from P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control drawings
• Communicate findings, repair needs, and recommendations clearly to customers and internal teams
• Complete accurate field documentation and follow strong safety practices on every job
• Help customers reduce downtime, improve reliability, and keep refrigeration systems operating as they should

What We're Looking For

• Proven industrial refrigeration field-service experience
• Hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems required
• Strong troubleshooting skills and safe work habits
• Ability to work independently in the field while contributing to a professional team
• Experience with compressors, controls, valves, motors, electrical troubleshooting, and system startups strongly preferred
• Reta Caro/Ciro, Osha, Epa Universal, welding, controls, or electrical experience are valued, but practical field skill matters most
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel and participate in on-call service as needed

We Use A Tiered Hourly Pay Scale Across Rscs And Mrc For Technician Roles: Apprentice/Entry $20–$30, Technician (Early-Career) $30–$40, Journeyman (Mid-Level) $40–$50, And Senior/Field Supervisor $50–$70 (Top End Reserved For Highest-Level Senior Ammonia Technicians And Field Supervisors). Starting Pay Is Based On Verified Experience, Certifications, And Job Scope (Including On-Call/Travel As Applicable) And May Vary By Location Due To Local Market And Cost Of Living; Hiring Managers Set The Final Starting Rate Within The Appropriate Tier.
