Job Summary The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital leadership role within the healthcare facility, supporting nursing administration and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position involves overseeing daily nursing operations, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards. The ADON-RN collaborates closely with the nursing team to promote a safe, efficient, and compassionate environment for patients and staff alike. Duties Provide nursing leadership by assisting in the coordination and management of daily clinical operations. Support nursing administration in implementing policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives. Supervise nursing staff to ensure adherence to care plans, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Oversee patient care activities to ensure they meet established standards of quality and safety. Assist in training, mentoring, and evaluating nursing personnel to foster professional development. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to patient needs. Monitor patient outcomes and address any issues related to care delivery promptly. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and hospital policies. Experience Proven experience in nursing with a strong background in patient care. Prior experience in nursing administration or leadership roles is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and coordinate with staff and other healthcare professionals. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and quality assurance practices is essential.
