Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Days

Role Summary: The Respiratory Therapist II delivers complex respiratory care, including medication administration, ventilator management, airway procedures, and patient assessments in critical care settings. They provide education to patients, families, and staff, ensuring safety and quality care while collaborating with healthcare teams. The role involves independent decision-making, participation in procedures, and supporting performance improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional patient care, documentation, and education Perform assessments and collaborate on care planning Administer medications, manage ventilators, and conduct airway procedures Conduct arterial blood gas sampling and analysis Educate patients and mentor new staff and students Maintain a safe environment, promote evidence-based practices, and support quality initiatives Ensure compliance with policies and standards Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with a minimum of 20 science quarter hours Certifications: NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (or provisional) 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills Ability to establish effective working relationships with healthcare professionals #J-18808-Ljbffr LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC
