Systems Engineer - (Naples, Italy)

Position Description Systems Engineer supporting the CNIC program at the Defense team, based in Naples, Italy. Responsibilities Lead daily Service Desk operations across the region, ensuring timely ticket resolution, high customer satisfaction, and adherence to best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues involving government-furnished equipment, coordinating with contractors, telecom teams, and external stakeholders. Develop, maintain, and report on Service Desk processes, SOPs, KPI tracking, risk identification, and briefings to government personnel. Train, mentor, and support Service Desk staff; oversee ITSM tool usage, technology planning, system deployments, asset management, procurement coordination, and DRMO disposition. Coordinate regional communication and support activities, including outage notifications, Scrum calls, installation collaborations, and surge support trips. Real Property Management Provide end-to-end real property management support: coordination, approval, and execution of installations, easements, changes, and IT integration. Maintain and manage real property inventories, conduct RPIs, and upload records to iNFADS. Support planning and oversight of real-property-related IT infrastructure, including surveys, design, installation, and testing of OSP, telecom systems, RF devices, and other components. Military Construction (MILCON) Support IT integration for MILCON and Special Projects, reviewing designs, drawings, and cost estimates; conducting security site surveys; producing technical reports; coordinating with NAVFAC, Public Works, and Command leadership. Lead IT change management and project governance, managing CCB process, developing cost estimates, authoring white papers, maintaining documentation, and representing N6 interests.
