Technician, Low Voltage, Licensed- Up to $5000 Sign on Bonus

Position Summary We are looking for a Low Voltage Technician to assist in the operation of multiple departments and perform additional job related responsibilities throughout the facility as assigned. Responsibilities Set up and configure low voltage systems (security, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video, network cabling). Run, terminate and label cables according to project requirements and industry standards. Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure system functionality and reliability. Identify and resolve issues in low voltage systems promptly to minimize downtime. Repair faults or damages and restore systems to optimal working condition. Provide technical support and training to end users on operation and maintenance. Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently. Ensure all installations and repairs adhere to local, state and federal regulations. Follow all safety guidelines to prevent accidents. Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance and repairs. Generate reports on system performance, issues resolved and maintenance activities. Evaluate existing systems for upgrade or enhancement needs and perform system upgrades. Collaborate with technicians, engineers and project managers to ensure project success. Communicate effectively with clients to understand needs and provide solutions. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies and best practices. Physical Activities Read information in small print. Enter and locate information on electronic devices. Travel Traveling is necessary to perform essential functions, including domestic travel to and from multiple facilities or work sites requiring consecutive overnight stays. Compensation Hourly wage range: $33.00 - $63.00 (actual rate will equal or exceed minimum wage applicable to the job location). Additional compensation may include premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed. Minimum Qualifications State and jurisdiction required certification and license for the state/jurisdiction of work (reciprocal license may apply). High school diploma or equivalent. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. Experience in a role requiring knowledge of local electrical codes and standards. Preferred Qualifications BICSI Installer Certification. CompTIA Network+ or other networking certifications. Manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., Honeywell, Axis, Bosch). NICET 1 & 2 Fire Alarm certification. OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification/training.
