Sr. Manager, Quality Engineering
Abbott
Abbott seeks a Senior Manager of Quality Engineering to lead quality systems, data analytics, and continuous improvement for the Electrophysiology business. The role combines strategic quality leadership with data-driven insights to enhance product safety, compliance, and business outcomes across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead quality engineering and analytics functions with strategic vision and oversight
- Analyze and integrate quality data from complaints, CAPA, surveillance, and manufacturing to identify trends
- Develop executive dashboards and reports translating quality performance into actionable business insights
- Ensure manufacturing quality systems meet FDA, ISO 13485, and regulatory requirements
- Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing quality professionals and teams
Requirements
- Medical device industry quality leadership experience
- Demonstrated expertise in quality data analytics and interpretation
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and global standards
- Experience managing cross-functional quality teams and operations
- Proficiency with quality management systems and compliance oversight
- Ability to develop executive-level dashboards and reporting systems
