Plastic Surgery Patient Care CoordinatorHours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Location: Chevy Chase, MD (accessible to the red line metro. Client will reimburse for paid parking or will pay for metro costs) Pay: $25-$30/hour Start: ASAP (ideally Monday or sooner) Duration: Temp, 2-3 weeks but could extend Benefits: vision and dental insurance day 1, health insurance after 60 daysOur client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Plastic Surgery Patient Care Coordinator to join our practice in Chevy Chase, MD. We seek a focused, energetic self-starter to manage patients from initial contact through consultation, pre-operative procedures, and post-surgical needs. General knowledge of plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures is a plus, and familiarity with surgical scheduling is useful. The position is open immediately.The ideal candidate has a previous background as medical assistant, surgical scheduler and/or medical administrative support staff, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding patient care.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for patients via phone and client communication channels, addressing inquiries and schedulingSupport the plastic surgeon by coordinating pre-operative assessments, post-operative care instructions, and ensuring timely communication of treatment plans.Collaborate with medical staff to streamline office operations, improve patient flow, and enhance overall service quality.RequirementsProven experience working in a plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery or dermatology practice environment or a cosmetic setting, preferably within surgical or cosmetic specialties.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with patient management software.Strong knowledge of health regulation policies related to patient privacy, documentation standards, and medical compliance.Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person.Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to plastic surgery procedures is an advantage.Eagerness to learn as there are opportunities to observe in the operating room and learn/practice medical skills in the office.Level One Personnel is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
