Your Role Perform service & troubleshooting, panel upgrades, whole home surge protection, remodels, light commercial (small offices), EV charger installation/service, fixtures, Smart home repair/installation, and outdoor lighting repair/installation. Work independently out of a company‑provided vehicle stocked with tools and technology. Diagnose, repair, and install residential electrical systems to NEC code and company standards. Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners; document work and complete service tickets. Maintain vehicle, tools, and safety compliance; keep the van clean and organized. What We’re Seeking in Our Electricians MD Journeyman license (*or within a month of taking the test). Minimum 4 years electrical experience, including at least 2 years residential service experience. Strong troubleshooting skills and commitment to NEC‑compliant workmanship. Customer‑focused, reliable, and able to work independently while following company best practices. (Our processes are our differentiator and how we deliver the Best‑in‑Class service.) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; able to pass background check and drug test. Professional appearance and demeanor; takes pride in representing the reputable brand of Mr. Electric in the community and will carry the torch with respect. Availability for standard hours (M‑F, 8‑5 p) with flexibility per customer needs. Onboarding & Development Robust onboarding: online modules, in‑office sessions with the Owner, ride‑alongs with top techs, and structured reviews to ensure mastery. Clear pathway for technical and leadership growth; mentorship from experienced staff.
