Travel Endoscopy Technician

Location

Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with weekday on-call coverage from 5:30 PM–7:00 AM and 24-hour on-call coverage on weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, BARRX ablations, bronchoscopies, Bravo placements, HET, TIF, EBUS, and EUS
• Perform endoscope reprocessing including leak testing and high-level disinfection using established protocols
• Operate and maintain endoscopy equipment including Olympus endoscopes, Medivators, Steris, Conmed, ERBE, and Boston Scientific systems
• Support patient care at a 1:1 ratio during procedures and 1:3 ratio during pre/post care within a 9-bed pre/post unit with 4 procedure rooms
• Document patient and procedural information accurately using the Expanse Provation documentation system
• Float to the main OR Sterile Processing Department as needed based on unit volume

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of endoscopy technician experience in a hospital setting
• Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on skills in endoscope reprocessing
• Familiarity with Olympus endoscopes, Medivators, and leak testing procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a broad range of endoscopic procedures including colon, EGD, ERCP, bronchoscopy, and EUS
• Prior experience with Expanse Provation documentation system
• Familiarity with HCA hospital policies and procedures
