Assembly / Electrical Production Technician

American Fork, UT

Express Employment is seeking a Assembly Production Technician to join our team The main responsibility of this role is to ensure safety compliance by acting as a second safety person to monitor UPS/QLS testers. In case of an emergency, the assistant should be able to shut off the Emergency Stop. Over time, the role will involve learning how to set up and take down cables for testing, cleaning up work areas, and assisting with basic production technician tasks during downtime.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor UPS/QLS testers and be ready to shut off the Emergency Stop in case of an emergency.
• Assist with setting up and taking down testing equipment, including connecting and coiling cables.
• Perform basic data entry tasks using Excel on a laptop.
• Assist with production technician tasks such as harnesses, assembly, and basic tool usage (screwdrivers, ratchets, crimpers, wire cutters).
• Maintain safety awareness and be alert in high-voltage areas.
• Help ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Remain self-motivated and proactive in completing tasks.

Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of tools such as screwdrivers, ratchets, crimpers, and wire cutters.
