Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 annually
The Direct Hire Division of Consilio, LLC is working with a highly regarded law firm that is seeking to hire a Corporate Paralegal to join their Los Angeles, CA office. This position is not with Consilio directly; it is a direct hire, permeant opportunity with the law firm.
About the role:
The role offers a hybrid work environment and the opportunity to support a fast-paced corporate legal department. The ideal candidate has strong experience in corporate governance, entity management, and legal documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with corporate governance, compliance, and entity management
- Prepare and file formation documents, amendments, and dissolution paperwork
- Maintain corporate records, minute books, and organized documents
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, resolutions, and other legal documents
- Coordinate and manage filings with state and federal agencies
- Conduct legal research and compile reports as needed
- Support due diligence process for transactions, mergers or acquisitions
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Paralegal Certificate
- Minimum 2 years of Corporate Paralegal experience
- Strong knowledge of corporate filings, governance, and compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
- Proficiency with MS Office Suites and legal management tools
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a corporate legal department or law firm
- Familiarity with California corporate law and filing systems
