Head Start & Early Head Start Classroom Substitutes

Overview Classroom Substitutes are needed for our Early Head Start & Head Start Programs. Positions available at our Council Bluffs, Denison, Harlan, Red Oak, Hastings & Atlantic locations. Would you like to work with children who are 6 weeks to 5 years of age? We are seeking Classroom Substitute Teachers for all WCCA Head Start & Early Head Start Classrooms. Classroom Substitutes fill in for or assist teachers in the classroom. They must have the ability to work with children and families from various cultural, economic & social backgrounds. Locations Council Bluffs Denison Harlan Red Oak Hastings Atlantic Responsibilities Fill in for or assist teachers in WCCA Head Start & Early Head Start classrooms. Support children aged 6 weeks to 5 years and their families. Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain a safe and engaging learning environment. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. A current valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and current and valid auto liability insurance. AA/AS in Early Childhood preferred. Prior experience with preschool children is preferred; any childcare, infant and toddler teaching experience is welcomed. Travel and Transportation For location travel, agency vehicles are available.
