CLINICAL SUPERVISOR + CHILD & FAMILY THERAPIST (LPCMH, LCSW, LMFT)

THE OPPORTUNITY

You remember the supervisor who made you a better therapist. Now you can be that person for someone else.

At Resilient Kids Child & Family Therapy, you'll maintain a child and family caseload, supervise one to two pre-licensed clinicians, and help shape a growing practice. You'll be paid for clinical sessions, supervision responsibilities, required meetings, and documentation under our compensation structure.

Founded by Marissa Lloyd, LPCMH, in 2017, Resilient Kids is expanding into a second location in Downtown Middletown. We're building our clinical leadership team now so that thoughtful supervision, strong onboarding, and a healthy clinical culture grow alongside the practice.

THE ROLE

• Clinical care: Work with children, teens, and families, ages 3 through young adulthood. You choose referrals based on your specialties and interests and may decline cases outside your training without penalty. Our reported client show rate exceeds 95%.
• Supervision: Begin with one pre-licensed clinician and grow to two. Responsibilities include individual supervision toward Delaware licensure, case consultation, treatment-planning support, reviewing and co-signing associate documentation, and modeling sound clinical habits and professional boundaries.
• Leadership: Partner with Clinical Director Mary Caroselli, LMFT, on onboarding, clinical standards, and case consultation. As the practice grows, you may contribute to hiring, clinician development, group consultation, and new programs.
• Clinical autonomy: We don't mandate one treatment modality. We expect ethical practice, timely documentation, and a strong commitment to children and families while respecting your clinical judgment.
• Administrative support: Our team handles intake, insurance verification, billing, scheduling, credentialing support, and routine client follow-up. We stand behind our attendance and payment policies so you aren't left managing administrative problems alone.

YOUR FIRST EIGHT WEEKS

We maintain a large referral waitlist and aim to build your caseload gradually:

Week 1: Paid onboarding and systems training.
Weeks 2–3: Target of 12 sessions per week.
Weeks 4–5: Target of 18 sessions per week.
Weeks 6–7: Target of 22 sessions per week.
Week 8 onward: Target of 25 sessions per week.

These are targets, not guarantees; actual growth depends on availability, referral fit, and scheduling. Your first supervisee joins around day 90, once you're settled.

COMPENSATION

• $47–$53 per completed session, based on experience and set at hire.
• $100 per week per supervisee, up to $9,600 annually with two supervisees.
• Additional $5 per session after 5 PM or on weekends.
• One paid documentation hour at $20 for every 10 completed sessions.
• Required meetings, consultation, and training paid at $20/hour.
• Annual performance-based raises.
• W-2 employment: insurance denials and clawbacks do not come out of your pay.

Estimated annual earnings:

• 25 sessions/week: approximately $71,000–$84,000.
• 28 sessions/week: approximately $79,000–$93,000.
• 30 sessions/week: approximately $84,000–$98,000.
  

Estimates depend on session rate, supervisee count, attendance, applicable differentials, paid non-session work, and time off. Actual earnings vary.

If a client cancels or doesn't attend, you may leave (the missed hour is unpaid) or choose an approved project and earn $20/hour for the time worked. Projects may include creating parent resources, developing supervision tools, planning workshops, or refreshing therapeutic materials. Staying is always optional. Parent and school communication is part of clinical work and is not separately paid. Our administrative team coordinates releases, scheduling, and records requests.

YOUR $2,000 WELCOME BENEFIT

After six months, choose one:

• A $2,000 sign-on bonus.
• $2,000 toward approved training, such as EMDR, TF-CBT, TBRI®, PCIT, Theraplay®, play therapy, or clinical supervision training.

SCHEDULE AND WORK-LIFE BOUNDARIES

You offer 30 hours of weekly availability, including core hours Monday–Friday, 2–5 PM, plus either two weekday evenings (5–8 PM) or one weekend shift. You choose your remaining hours, and your schedule is established at hire.

• Four in-office days and one telehealth day per week.
• A 25-session weekly baseline; higher caseloads are your choice.
• Paid documentation under the compensation structure.
• No on-call duties or after-hours client texting.
• Protected PTO.

Evening and weekend availability helps children and working parents attend therapy. Our in-office model also supports collaboration and consultation with colleagues.

CLINICAL SUPPORT AND CAREER GROWTH

You'll have access to the Clinical Director and senior clinicians, plus monthly paid, protected case consultation. We offer optional Lunch & Learns with free CEUs on practical child and family mental health topics. We don't mandate a treatment modality, and we welcome clinician ideas for new groups, workshops, partnerships, and specialty programs.

Clinicians interested in nature-based or animal-assisted approaches may explore training and mentorship through Buddy's Place, our nonprofit farm partner in Middletown. Farm-based work is optional.

This role offers the opportunity to help shape onboarding, clinical standards, hiring, group consultation, and new services as the practice grows.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Active Delaware LPCMH, LCSW, or LMFT license in good standing.
• At least two years of post-licensure experience.
• Eligibility to provide clinical supervision under Delaware regulations.
• Experience with children, adolescents, and family systems.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to work four days per week in-office in Middletown and meet the schedule requirements above.

Strongly preferred:

• Previous clinical supervision experience.
• Trauma-focused training such as TF-CBT, EMDR, or CPP.
• Play therapy, family systems, or attachment-focused experience.
• LGBTQ+ affirming and neurodiversity-affirming practice.
• Spanish-English bilingual skills.
