Position Overview As a CDL A Driver you will operate a commercial motor vehicle, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of beverages to customers. Responsibilities Safely operate and maneuver commercial delivery vehicles to transport beverages to designated retail locations, following routes and schedules. Load and unload beverage products using proper handling techniques to prevent damage. Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance or safety issues. Use electronic devices or paper to confirm deliveries, track inventory, and maintain records. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle. Interact professionally with store personnel and establish positive relationships. Maintain a valid CDL‑A license. Complete all assigned training. Attend meetings and assist with special projects and events. Requirements High School Diploma (or GED) and/or equivalent degree/certificate. CDL‑A License. Interstate License. Ability to drive manual transmission preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age. Driving record must meet Swire’s vehicle policy requirements. Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed; flexibility with changing schedules and routes. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move heavy beverage cases repeatedly throughout the day. Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with customers, clients, and team members. Application Process We accept applications on an ongoing basis. Base pay range is $31/hr plus bonus structure, depending on candidate’s geographic location, prior relevant experience, and skills. After conditional offer, pre‑employment screening will be required, including criminal background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record review.
