What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll work closely with our doctors and technicians to provide high-quality patient care while helping appointments run smoothly. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with technician appointments
• Safely restraining patients for examinations and treatments
• Administering vaccines (as permitted)
• Performing nail trims and anal gland expressions
• Assisting with blood draws and laboratory sample collection
• Preparing patients and treatment areas
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Supporting doctors and technicians with patient care throughout the day
• Creating a positive, welcoming experience for both clients and their pets

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Is motivated to learn and grow in veterinary medicine
• Welcomes constructive feedback and uses it as an opportunity to improve
• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Enjoys working collaboratively with a team
• Communicates professionally and compassionately with clients and coworkers
• Demonstrates good organizational skills and critical thinking
• Can work independently while also taking direction when needed
• Has knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures (preferred)
• Has experience with veterinary software (preferred but not required)
