You will play a key role in the design, permitting, and construction of food facilities throughout the United States. You will be a member of our structural department and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Applying extensive and diverse knowledge of principles and practices for a wide range of materials and construction techniques.Lead in performing hand calculations and creating computer analysis models for structural design tasks.Lead in coordinating structural work with other disciplinesDrafting sketches, contract drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD.Reviewing project documentation for conformity and quality assurance.Reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and calculationsLead in estimating construction costs with quantity take offs and historic costsConducting field inspections & condition assessments and prepare reportsResearching structural engineering materials and best practicesSupporting talent growth within our organizationAssists with interviewing and hiring new team members Handle complex issues and tasks with minimal supervision and advise subordinate team members on solutions to issues they encounter.Provide coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group when directed by supervisor.About YouBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering8+ years of relevant structural experience (industrial and commercial building structure)8+ years of experience performing calculations, creating analysis models for structural designs8+ years of experience in structural and concrete drafting sketches, contract drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD and RevitRAM Structural system and RAM Elements knowledge or experience is a plusProfessional Engineer (PE) LicenseDetailed planning and organization skills.Experience with structural analysis softwareAbility to travel to project sites as needed (15 days a year)About UsWe plan, design, engineer, and build food plants for major brands across the country and the world.
