Mental Health Professional ll Masters

Job Summary The Mental Health Professional II delivers exceptional, patient‑focused care by providing supervised mental health services, including assessments, psycho‑education, process groups, treatment planning, and therapeutic counseling in one‑to‑one, family, and group settings. Responsibilities Conduct one‑to‑one, group, and family psycho‑educational and process groups. Develop treatment plans and attend ongoing treatment planning meetings and reviews. Assess environment and patient safety status; report/respond to safety issues or changes in condition. Identify risk factors, screening criteria, and interventions for patients with special precautions (suicide, homicide, falls, elopement). Complete assessments, group notes, and all other documentation promptly and in compliance with requirements, as appropriate to scope. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assess and coordinate discharge planning needs and readiness. Conduct post‑discharge follow‑up as indicated. Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work or related field (required). Experience in mental health or related field (preferred). Currently registered as a Licensed Master in Social Work (LMSW) in the state(s) of practice (preferred). Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) (preferred).
