Senior Software Engineer

Role Description
- Help clients improve business systems using the Atlassian suite by migrating from 3rd party tools to Atlassian applications using best practices and recommendations.
- Work with clients in planning for Atlassian migrations, implementing the migrations, and troubleshooting post-implementation issues.
- Assess clients' current systems by gathering requirements and evaluating current application usage.
- Research possible migration paths and propose solutions to clients.
- Consult on, develop, and implement infrastructure for new product deployments as required.
- Collaborate with a Systems Architect on application and data configurations.
- Develop custom tools and scripts to facilitate data migration processes.
- Consolidate Atlassian applications/environments and configure Atlassian Access as well as external authentication platforms (e.g., Azure, AD, LDAP, Okta, OneLogin, Google Workspace).
- Research migration solutions from non-Atlassian platforms such as Rally, Zendesk, ServiceNow, and others.
- Execute test and production migrations and make necessary process adjustments.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during implementation.
- Lead transformation workshops and new platform trainings during and post-implementation.
- Provide post-implementation support by resolving issues that arise.
- Support clients' end-users by conducting assessments and implementing solutions.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of the new post-migration environment and compile reports on problems and their possible solutions.
- Provide administrative support to clients by working with project stakeholders to support day-to-day operations.
- Consult on application functionalities and possible improvements.
- Execute application and platform configuration changes upon client requests.
- Occasional travel of up to 40% to client locations throughout the U.S.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of experience in Atlassian Cloud, Azure, AWS, Groovy, Python, SQL.
- Occasional travel of up to 40% to client locations throughout the U.S.
