Senior Consumer Recovery Specialist

Job Title Senior Consumer Recovery Specialist Agency 452 Mental Health and Substance Abuse Serv. Location & Schedule Northwest Center for Behavioral Health (NCBH), Fort Supply Inpatient Unit. Primary working hours 3:30 pm–2:00 am, 10‑hour shifts, full time, non‑exempt. Compensation Hourly rate: $17.09 + differentials (.50 evenings and nights, .75 weekends/holidays, $1.00 direct care). Annual salary: $35,547.00 for standard position, $37,627.00 for senior. Key Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect care for patients, promoting mental and emotional well‑being. Assist in creating a safe, supportive environment and ensure excellent care is received. Promote wellness and safety, help de‑escalate difficult situations, and serve as a role model for the unit. Lead therapeutic options, support nursing staff, and assist in the admissions process. Participate in de‑escalation efforts and provide therapeutic options for support activities. Demonstrate effective problem‑solving, decision‑making, and leadership. Minimum Qualifications and Experience Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent can substitute four (4) years of relevant experience. Preference may be given to current NCBH employees. Special Requirements Willingness and ability to fulfill any job‑related travel normally associated with this position and possession of a valid driver’s license. Conditional offer of employment requires a physical examination, with the capability to occasionally lift or carry 50 pounds and push or pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
