General Accountant (Hyrbid)

Job Overview Position: Enterprise Services (ES) Accounting & Compliance – Location: US-TX-RICHARDSON – hybrid role. U.S. citizenship required. Salary range $57,200–$108,800. Key Responsibilities Analyze time and attendance data to resolve labor/payroll variances related to rates and hours differences. Provide expatriate payroll support – emolument research and clearing. Conduct payroll payable reconciliation and clearing. Support the reconciliation activities and close processes of the ES Labor/Payroll Accounting Team. Complete general ledger accounting entries and work with balance sheet reconciliations. Perform data analysis and recommend corrective actions for accounting activities. Assist in month‑end close, reporting, and audits (PwC, DCAA, and internal). Participate in critical projects with Payroll Operations, Payroll Tax, HR, Benefits Finance, third‑party vendors, Digital Technology, and internal controls. Collaborate with multiple ES Finance areas such as Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, Payroll, Timekeeping, Sales, Use & Property Tax, Global Disbursements, and Contracts to Cash. Engage in ad‑hoc projects and support for SAP Competency Center, Conduent, and other business units. Required Qualifications University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent experience. Less than 2 years of prior relevant experience in payroll and labor accounting. At least 2 years of experience with monthly payroll processes, complex journal entries, and account reconciliations. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, interpersonal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience or knowledge of SAP or other major ERP systems and Blackline. Previous Raytheon Finance, International Payroll, or Timekeeping experience.
