Plant Operator at SCS Engineers Rochester, NH

Overview What we are looking for: SCS Energy is looking for a Full time Plant Operator, to operate and maintain (O&M) run a High BTU gas processing facility in Rochester NH. The Operators needs to have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently. This full-time position requires flexibility for on-call support, 24/7. Prior experience with gas processing equipment and rotating equipment is a plus. Tasks to include: facility operation, inspections and general maintenance, and equipment service. Operator must live in the greater Rochester, NH area. How you can make an impact Assist in starting up facility and maintain facility Facility operation, inspections and general maintenance, and equipment service. Oversight of SCS and/or client subcontractors. Calibrate, maintain, test, troubleshoot, order and organize field equipment. Perform repairs of field equipment and/or arrange for repair with vendor. Report field conditions and test results to supervisor and sometimes directly to the client. Prepare and submit daily field logs reporting data collected, field observations, actions taken, and recommended actions to be taken Follow SOP for each site and be up to date with health & safety training. Qualifications Associates degree or military experience is preferred. Minimum of 1-5 year of relevant mechanical experience required. SCADA and rotating equipment experience is preferred. Completion of (or willingness to complete) OSHA 30-Hour training required. Valid driver’s license with a driving record in good standing required. Pay and Benefits Pay Range: USD $25.00 - USD $32.00 /Hr.
