Licensed Life Insurance Sales Agent

Our rapidly expanding insurance agency is looking for a full-time life insurance agent to join our team! You’ll grow a list of prospective clients, market our insurance products, showcase our offerings to new customers, and help policyholders navigate the claims process. We’ll provide the support network and resources to help you reach - and exceed - your sales goals. Responsibilities Aid policyholders with the insurance claims process while supervising the progress of current insurance claims Determine new customers’ insurance needs, desires, insurance risk, prior coverage, and financial standing via booked consultations to ensure the best client experience possible Develop a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other marketing strategies to secure new business Maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to date Address existing and prospective customer requests in a prompt and friendly manner, including booking new meetings and responding to inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, coverage, claims, and insurance policies Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored insurance solutions Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand client base and drive revenue growth Conduct comprehensive financial assessments to recommend appropriate insurance products that align with clients' goals Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective sales strategies that enhance our market presence Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and provide clients with up-to-date information Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues with professionalism Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a seamless transition and a positive first impression of our services Qualifications Prior health insurance or life insurance experience a bonus Current Life & Health insurance license is greatly valued Proficiency with Microsoft Office products Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred Must have graduated high school or received GED, a Bachelor’s degree is desired Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in insurance, is essential Ability to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients feel valued and understood Proven track record of successfully managing and processing insurance claims with accuracy and efficiency Strong communication skills to effectively onboard new clients and maintain relationships with existing ones Ability to evaluate clients' insurance needs and tailor solutions that align with their financial goals Experience in maintaining organized records and databases, ensuring all client information is current and accessible Proficiency in using marketing strategies, including networking and referrals, to grow a customer base is a plus To be considered, candidates must live in or around the Albany, NY area Compensation: $65,000-$85,000 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr
