Production Technician I (Production Operator)
Immediate openings hiring ASAP! Are you looking for an opportunity with a well-known beverage manufacturer? We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Production Technicians to join a fast-paced production team. If you enjoy hands-on work, maintaining quality standards, and working in a team environment, we encourage you to apply today.
Schedule:
Day Shift Monday Thursday 4:00 AM 2:30 PM Four 10-hour shifts per week No weekends 40 hours per week Start and end times may vary based on production needs.
Compensation & Benefits $22.00 per hour Weekly pay Opportunity for temporary-to-hire employment based on performance and business needs
Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate production and packaging equipment following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Perform routine quality inspections throughout the production process
- Complete product and packaging changeovers
- Ensure raw materials are available and properly utilized to prevent production downtime
- Accurately complete quality, production, and operational documentation
- Track and record pallet numbers and production information
- Verify products and packaging components match production schedules and specifications
- Monitor product quality and compliance throughout the manufacturing process
- Follow food safety, quality assurance, and SQF requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate with production, warehouse, quality, and maintenance teams
- Promptly report equipment issues, safety concerns, or production problems to supervisors
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to safely handle production materials and equipment
- Ability to work around moving machinery and production equipment
