Position Description: About the RoleAt DACUT Cannabis, we're building more than cannabis brands, we're building retail experiences that customers remember. Every promotion, display, menu, digital advertisement, social media post, product launch, and in-store campaign begins with exceptional design.We're looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our in-house Retail Marketing team at our corporate headquarters in West Bloomfield. This is not an agency role where you'll work on a different client every week. You'll become an integral part of our growing creative team, helping shape multiple cannabis brands across retail, wholesale, and digital channels.You'll work closely with Marketing, Retail Operations, Sales, and our Creative Director to develop compelling creative assets that drive customer engagement, support product launches, and strengthen brand consistency across every customer touchpoint.The ideal candidate is highly creative, detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly and deadlines matter.Essential ResponsibilitiesGraphic Design & Creative DevelopmentDesign creative assets for retail stores, wholesale partners, and corporate marketing initiatives.Create promotional materials including signage, posters, banners, menus, displays, flyers, brochures, and point-of-sale materials.Design digital marketing assets for websites, email campaigns, social media, digital advertising, and customer communications.Develop product graphics, promotional campaigns, and seasonal marketing materials.Ensure all creative work aligns with established brand guidelines.Retail MarketingDesign in-store marketing materials for multiple dispensary locations.Create window graphics, promotional displays, shelf talkers, educational materials, and event signage.Support grand openings, vendor days, product launches, and promotional campaigns.Develop visual merchandising assets that enhance the customer experience.Brand ManagementMaintain consistency across all DACUT and Gramazon brands.Assist in developing and expanding brand identity systems.Prepare production-ready artwork for print and digital distribution.Ensure creative assets meet quality standards before production.Production & Vendor CoordinationPrepare print-ready files using proper specifications, bleeds, and production requirements.Coordinate revisions and final artwork with printers and production vendors.Review proofs for accuracy before production.Organize and maintain creative files and production assets.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Marketing, Retail Operations, Sales, Wholesale, and Executive Leadership.Collaborate with photographers, videographers, printers, and outside vendors when needed.Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and campaign development.Assist with additional marketing and creative projects as assigned.QualificationsRequiredAssociate 's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.Minimum of 2 years of professional graphic design experience.Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.Strong typography, layout, color theory, and branding skills.Experience preparing print-ready production files.Strong portfolio demonstrating both print and digital design work.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.Strong communication and collaboration skills.PreferredExperience designing retail marketing materials and point-of-sale displays.Experience working with consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, hospitality, or cannabis brands.Experience with packaging design and production.Familiarity with Canva, Figma, After Effects, Premiere Pro, or other creative software.Photography, video editing, or motion graphics experience is a plus.Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume creative environment.What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experienceMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid Time OffEmployee discount programCareer advancement opportunities within a rapidly growing organizationCollaborative and creative team environmentOpportunity to work on multiple cannabis brands across retail, wholesale, and digital marketingAccess to cutting-edge creative projects that directly impact one of Michigan's fastest-growing cannabis companiesApply TodayIf you're a creative designer who enjoys bringing brands to life through exceptional visual design, we'd love to hear from you.
