We currently have full-time Family Nurse Practitioner opportunities available at our Haskell clinic. Meet the Role As a Family Nurse Practitioner (APRN) at Healthy Connections, you will deliver primary care that focuses on prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management across the lifespan. You'll diagnose, treat, educate, and advocate-bringing your full clinical skills and compassion to every patient encounter. You'll be part of a collaborative care team where your input matters and your growth is supported. - Conduct comprehensive assessments, including medical, social, and family histories
- Perform physical examinations and diagnose acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and manage individualized patient care plans
- Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatments based on patient needs
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and wellness strategies
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies including labs and imaging
- Refer patients to specialists and coordinate comprehensive care when necessary
- Participate in Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) initiatives and quality improvement programs
- Support Healthy Connections' broader mission to expand access to high-quality healthcare
- Become certified in Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and HIV care (if not already certified)
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Arkansas APRN licensure in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- DEA licensure (or willingness to obtain)
- CPR and ACLS training within 9 months of employment
- Willingness to become certified in MAT and HIV care (training provided)
- Strong clinical knowledge combined with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to build strong patient relationships focused on trust, respect, and health education
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and Microsoft Office tools
