Job Details

• Location: Jackson, Tennessee
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications as a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS), with no minimum years of experience required, valid licensure in the state of Tennessee, and professional licensure or registration as required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric respiratory care and familiarity with advanced ventilatory equipment is preferred.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include operating ventilatory equipment, performing chest physiotherapy, suctioning, monitoring with oximetry and capnography, conducting pulmonary function studies, assisting with procedures such as bronchoscopy, and performing airway management including tracheostomy care and placement of endotracheal tubes. The therapist must ensure accuracy in documentation and communicate effectively with the medical team regarding therapy progress and patient response. All treatments must be conducted in accordance with facility policies and guidelines.
