The Accounting Manager will provide leadership across multiple accounting functions, oversee critical financial processes, and partner with senior leadership to support organizational goals. This role is ideal for a professional who excels in financial oversight, team development, compliance management, and delivering clear business insights to a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
- Oversee daily accounting operations and provide leadership, mentoring, and performance guidance to a multi functional accounting team supporting several financial disciplines.
- Deliver accurate financial reporting, maintain accounting records, and ensure the integrity of accounting systems, data, and reporting processes.
- Coordinate regulatory filings, tax related reporting, audit preparation, and external financial reporting requirements while maintaining compliance with applicable standards.
- Manage retirement plan administration activities, serve as a primary liaison with third party service providers, and support annual audits, testing, and plan governance activities.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and operational stakeholders to provide financial analysis, specialized reporting, process improvements, and user access enhancements that support business decision making.
- Demonstrated experience leading accounting teams and managing multiple functional areas within a finance or accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general accounting principles, account reconciliations, and month end or year end close activities.
- Experience supporting audits, regulatory compliance requirements, tax reporting, and interactions with external accounting professionals or service providers.
- Working knowledge of accounting systems, financial controls, depreciation accounting, and system data accuracy initiatives.
- Ability to communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non financial audiences, while building strong relationships across all levels of an organization.
