Develops and implements patient care policies that are based on evidence and/or best practice standards and comply with regulatory requirements. As new nursing knowledge and innovations in practice advance, leads their application into practice and ensures standardized implementation across the department by working closely and in collaboration with other department nurse leaders and educators.**Minimum Qualifications:****Required*** Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)* American Heart Association BLS* American Heart Association ACLS* American Heart Association PALS* Current patient care experience in procedural services and critical care nursing* One year of previous supervisory experience**Preferred*** MSN* Certification in nursing leadership* Management experience in hospital nursing**Essential Job Functions:**In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements.* Assists leaders with directs broad operations to ensure the provision of comprehensive departmental services in compliance with all regulatory agencies and hospital requirements.* Assists leaders to ensure a collaborative departmental approach to operational planning, care/service design and development of organizational policies, which reflect the mission of the organization.* Coordinates and assists with oversight of departmental services.
