Plant Controller

The Plant Controller serves as the primary finance partner to the site leadership team, helping to drive operational performance, cost optimization, and value creation. This role works cross‑functionally, providing clear financial direction while adapting to evolving business conditions. The position is responsible for ensuring strong financial governance and maintaining accurate, transparent reporting that reflects the site’s performance. Key Responsibilities Lead the site’s budgeting and forecasting processes, aligning financial plans with production realities and operational priorities Monitor plant performance by analyzing costs, efficiency, and key operational drivers, identifying risks and opportunities Conduct monthly performance reviews, tracking metrics such as equipment efficiency, unit costs, waste reduction, and productivity Support continuous improvement initiatives by validating financial benefits and ensuring measurable outcomes Oversee capital expenditure activities, including business case development, investment tracking, and return analysis Maintain strong internal controls and ensure readiness for audits and compliance requirements Partner with operations, engineering, supply chain, and planning teams to guide decisions with data‑driven insights Mentor and support finance team members while contributing to broader finance initiatives and best practice sharing Qualifications & Experience 10 - 15 years of progressive finance experience in a corporate or multinational environment, including 2–3 years supporting manufacturing operations Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; advanced credentials (e.g., MBA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and internal control frameworks Experience in financial planning and analysis, cost accounting, and manufacturing finance Proven ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor Effective communicator with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts Demonstrated experience improving processes and driving operational efficiencies Ability to perform in a fast‑paced environment while fostering collaboration and teamwork Broad knowledge of accounting, reporting, tax considerations, and financial management practices Flexibility to support future opportunities across multiple U.S. locations is preferred Core Skills Financial planning and analysis Budgeting and forecasting Cost management and investment evaluation Financial reporting and compliance Process improvement and project management Strategic thinking and problem‑solving Stakeholder engagement and communication #J-18808-Ljbffr
