As a Tax Manager, you will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including C-corps, S-corps, and high net-worth individuals, and provide a broad range of tax services. This role is integral to our business and involves tax compliance, tax preparation, tax planning, tax advisory, tax returns, and tax research. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and challenging environment and play a key role in shaping the tax strategy of our organization. Responsibilities Manage and oversee the tax planning, preparation, and filing processes for C-corps, S-corps, and high net-worth individuals. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. Conduct detailed tax research to identify and mitigate tax risks, and to optimize tax strategies. Provide tax advisory services to clients, and help them understand the tax implications of their business decisions. Prepare accurate and timely tax returns, and assist clients with tax audits and disputes. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, and provide them with exceptional customer service. Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, and update clients and team members on any changes that may affect them. Collaborate with other team members to achieve business goals, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our tax processes and procedures. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Tax Coach (CTC) designation is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a tax manager role or a similar role in the finance industry. In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and experience with tax planning, preparation, compliance, and research. Experience with managing a diverse portfolio of clients, including C-corps, S-corps, and high net-worth individuals. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong commitment to ethical standards and a high level of integrity.
