Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Experience with a patient ratio of 3:1 Experience with Epic charting system Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery night shifts. The role involves caring for laboring patients and providing couplet care. Candidates must be proficient in triage of obstetrical patients. Skills required include assisting with vaginal delivery and cesarean sections. Breastfeeding support and lactation assistance are also needed. Recovery of C-sections and managing newborn assessments are part of the responsibilities. The unit supports couplet care, where newborns room in with their parents. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic and supportive team environment. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.
