Medical-Surgical/Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical/Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Med/Surg and ER nursing, demonstrating proficiency in IV medication administration and a commitment to teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in both Medical-Surgical and Emergency Room settings.
- Administer IV medications and perform various nursing procedures with precision.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess patient needs and develop care plans.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with regulations and standards.
- Respond to emergency situations with prompt and appropriate interventions.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or a multi-state license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical and Emergency Room nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to the varying demands of the healthcare environment.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a night shift schedule from 1900 to 0700, lasting for a duration of 13 weeks.
